Nissan is having a good 2022, the Magnite is selling very well in the subcompact SUV segment due to its aggressive pricing and feature-loaded trim levels. The automaker is planning to continue the good form with a slew of upcoming launches. Today we take a look at 5 of them. Presented By: Car Lelo
Nissan LeafThe Nissan Leaf is one of the pioneers in the electric vehicle segment, being on sale before Tesla made EVs cool. The next-generation Leaf comes loaded with tech, including ProPilot autonomous driving and ProPilot Park. The EV uses a 40 kWh battery pack to power a single electric motor pumping out 150bhp/320 Nm of peak figures.
Nissan X-TrailThe latest fourth-generation X-Trail was recently showcased in India. Nissan has already confirmed that it will be coming to India soon. Globally, it is offered with a 2.5-litre petrol, a 1.5-litre mild-hybrid or a1.5-litre e-Power unit.
Nissan Juke The Juke is a global best-seller for Nissan, but it is the first time the brand is showing interest in bringing it to India. Though it may be unlikely, the Juke will be a funky and offbeat offering in a segment that is quickly becoming the highest-selling in the country and is full of competitors.
Nissan Qasbqai Another popular offering from the automaker in International markets, the Nissan Qashqai rivals the likes of the Hyundai Tucson and Jeep Compass. The SUV is based on the same platform as the X-Trail, but it is a bit smaller. Like its sibling, it will be also offered with a turbo-petrol or an e-Power range-extending hybrid powertrain.
Nissan Sunny Nissan is planning to launch the new-generation Sunny in the first half of 2023. The Sunny was one of the strongest sellers in the brand’s lineup, but sales stagnated as other, newer rivals arrived. The new model will come with styling in line with the company’s current design language while the interior will feature a touchscreen infotainment display and digital instrument console. Expect powertrain choices to include a petrol and a hybrid.
