Psilocybe cubensis is one of the easiest magic mushrooms to identify. It has a conic to convex cap that’s 2-8cm across. As it ages, it becomes plane with a tiny nipple-like structure at the center of its head. The golden brown cap starts out reddish to cinnamon when young. Psilocybe cubensis spores are distinguishable because of their dark, purple brown hue.
