The Student Direct Stream (SDS) program is available to international students who are applying for a study permit to study at a designated learning institution (DLI) in Canada. To be eligible for the SDS program, students must meet the requirements mentioned here.

  2. Applicants must demonstrate language proficiency in either English or French by submitting the results of a standardized language test. For English, the acceptable tests are IELTS, CELPIP, or TEF. For French, the acceptable tests are TEF, TCF, or DELF. www.crighimmigration.ca

  3. Applicants must have an acceptance letter from a designated learning institution (DLI) in Canada that has been approved by a provincial or territorial government to host international students. www.crighimmigration.ca

  4. Applicants must be a legal resident of one of the following countries: China, India, Morocco, Pakistan, the Philippines, Senegal, or Vietnam. www.crighimmigration.ca

  5. Applicants must demonstrate that they have sufficient financial resources to cover tuition fees, living expenses, and return transportation to their home country. This can be demonstrated through bank statements, scholarship letters, or other financial documents. www.crighimmigration.ca
