The term is usually associated with taking control and/or gaining access to someone’s computer, laptop, social media account(s), or even their vehicle.
The term hack though, is also gaining attention for having the meaning of making some aspect of life much easier.
The kind of hacking that I will discuss with you today are the different kinds of vehicle hacks there are that can make certain challenges with your vehicle much more manageable.
The first hack that I would like to discuss is keeping socks in the glove box of your vehicle.
The reason for this is that in case you need to push your vehicle over ice or even walk in snow for whatever reason.
The socks add additional traction, which can help drivers from falling.
The next hack is helpful for when it’s cold outside and your car door or lock is covered in ice.
By placing some hand sanitizer on your key and sticking the key in the lock the ice around and in the lock begin to melt making it much easier to get inside your vehicle.
Another issue that a lot of drivers face during the winter is their door freezing.
This is especially true if you are a parent and you must drop your children off at school before driving to work.
The hack to preventing this is to apply cooking spray in the cracks of your vehicle doors.
This keeps water from resting in the cracks in the first place.
Drivers will receive the most benefits from this hack if they apply the cooking spray before the winter months.
Another inconvenience that drivers face is windshield related issues.
These issues can range from the windshield needing to defrosted, to the windshield being covered in ice, or even the wiper blades of the vehicle being stuck to the windshield.
To battle these issues drivers just need to apply these simple hacks.
The first hack can aid drivers if their wiper blades are frozen to their windshield.
By soaking a soft cloth with rubbing alcohol and sliding the sock onto the wiper blade drivers can quickly de-ice their windshield.
This is due to the fact that the alcohol helps melt the ice, and also keep the wiper blades from sticking to the windshield.
