  1. I love my car.

  2. I love everything about it.

  3. My car has a stunning exterior image.

  4. I keep everything shiny and clean.

  5. A few weeks ago, there was an incident that would change all of this.

  6. There was a hail storm by my apartment, and unfortunately I didn’t have covered parking at the time.

  7. When I went to go check on my car the next day to see if there was any damage I was overcome with all the dings and scratches that I saw on my vehicle.

  8. This was turning out to be one of the worst days of my life.

  9. I saw my neighbor inspecting his vehicle, and to my surprise there didn’t appear to be any damage.

  10. I wondered why this was.

  11. I mean my neighbor didn’t have covered parking either, and he was home last night, so how did his car avoid all the damage that mind had not? He then showed me his car cover that he had just recently put back in the trunk of his vehicle.

  12. The cover was damp from all the hail falling on it, but nonetheless seemed to be in good condition.

  13. My neighbor, then told me the benefits of car covers that I will share with you.

  14. The first benefit of having a car cover is that it protects your vehicle from bad weather such as the hail storm discussed above.

  15. This is because it acts as a cushion, absorbing the blow of the falling material.

  16. The cushion also protects your vehicle from any kind of damage if there is maintenance occurring near your vehicle.

  17. I know that in my apartment complex management will do some repainting of the buildings.

  18. A cover protects my vehicle from getting unwanted paint on it.

  19. The next benefit for a car cover is that it offers protection from dings, dents, and scratches.

  20. Occasionally drivers may accidently get out of their vehicle too fast and hit your car with their door.

  21. This isn’t intentional, but is costly to repair.

  22. Another benefit granted by a car cover is the theft deterrent it offers.

  23. The reason for this is purely psychological.

  24. When a thief sees a cover on a car there mind starts to think that the owner of the vehicle keeps a close eye on their vehicle, so this may not be the easiest mark.

  25. This benefit alone can save drivers a huge amount of money spent on insurance premiums to replace a stolen vehicle.

  26. Hopefully with these tips drivers will look into purchasing a car cover for their vehicle.
