Landscaping, Dana Pacific Landscape
Socorro was born in Michoacán, México but moved to San Juan Capistrano when he was fifteen years old. He began working hard from the moment that he arrived in the United States. He did everything from dishwashing, to working at an auto shop. His number one goal from the get go was to learn English as quickly as possible so he kept a notebook and when he learned a new word, he would write it down twenty times in his English notebook. Needless to say he learned quickly. When he was twenty, he bought his first truck and lawn mower. Socorro started mowing people’s lawns on the weekends while he kept up his regular job. He then started working for his uncle who had an established landscaping business. Socorro learned his trade through on the job training. After a few years he decided to study for his contractor’s licenses. He currently holds the C-08 license which covers all types of concrete and wall installation, the C-27 which covers all landscape work including lighting and irrigation, and the D-49 license which is a tree service license. Socorro believes that hard work, attention to detail and great customer service lead to everyone being happy when the job is done. Socorro lives in Dana Point with his wife and children. In his free time Socorro loves traveling, studying History and Archaeology, and listening to old Mexican music.
