  1. This time it’s yours- SS’16 Marc Jacobs Handbags One of your goals this spring season should be to stay focused on the handbags more than the outfits of course. It was only last week that I was going through current trends in bags and constantly keeping an eye on brands I strictly believe in. Marc Jacobs topped the charts. And so I wanted, this time especially the blog should offer my readers more than what the average fashion critics say or least try to say. What speaks to me on an emotional level will be expressed in this blog reasonably. See, fashion is what wears you but style is what you wear. Marc Jacobs is the name of the season. I am totally driven by the handbags by this luxury label. The bags and wallets category consists of cross body bags, shoulder bags, backpacks, totes, clutches, cosmetic bags, bag charms and wallets. With temperature in India expected to rise to a balmy 35 degrees, a little floral bag is the idea. This spring the overarching trend in handbags is all about prints, floral and cheerful fun.

If you look closely these are the bags with details that are more of personality driven unlike those pieces that creep unnecessarily into the culture of ‘trends-following’. You might come across news of Kylie Minogue or Taylor Swift or Kris Jenner or Chrisy Tiegen doing the rounds on pages every day with bags by Marc Jacobs out and about in town. And indeed they appear to be so attractive that we could barely take our eyes off them. One of the best things about Marc Jacobs is that this designer is quite well aware of translating runway shimmer to reality, which I mostly see lagging in other designers. He aims at bringing the mirage to sheer reality. It was only last month that a fellow colleague of mine bought a bag by Jacobs and awhile later the bag stole the limelight. I couldn’t sleep less imagining the bag in my closet.

  3. For spring’16 the bags are simply as enticing a dream to carry and flaunt with confidence. Bags by Marc are not only relegated or suitable for runway art work; they indeed look equally beautiful over the shoulders. So this spring set your own fashion claim.
