  2. Devendra Darda, managing director of Lokmat Media Group instituted, with his family, the Sur Jyotsna National Music Awards in the memory of the late Jyotsna Darda, founder president of LokmatSakhiManch and director of Lokmat Media.

  3. Recently, the Darda family presented the award to OjasAdhiya and PoojaGaitonde, two promising artists. The award was presented at an impressive ceremony that took place in Nagpur at Chitnis Park. The park was full of personalities.

  4. PoojaGaitonde is a skilled ghazal singer and he received the award during the ceremony at the hands of Devendra Fadnavis, Chief Minister. Devendra Dardaattended also the event and handed the award to OjasAdhiya, a young player of tabla. Vijay Darda, Member of RajyaSabha and Chairman of Editorial Board of Lokmat Media, was also in the attendance.

Rajendra Darda, editor-in-cief of Lokmat Media and Anil Deshmukh, former minister; were also there along with Praful Patel, member of RajyaSabha. • As Devendra Dardaexplained during the ceremony, the Sur Jyotsna National Music Awards aimed to recognize the concealed skill in budding artists in order to bring it in front of the world.

  6. Mr.Darda said that the award was a genuine honor of artists and will keep reminding Indians and the world of the generous contribution of late Jyotsna Darda in the domain of music. NitinGadkari, shipping minister, and Devendra Fadnatis expressed also these thoughts in Nagpur.
