  1. How to Plan and Install a Tile Shower Surround? Do you change the outlook of your bathroom and make it look more aesthetic? A tile shower surround is an elegant solution designed successfully in functional terms. Sticking to the following procedures will ensure the job is planned and performed effectively. How to plan tile shower surround? Choose Your Tiles: First, find the tiles that will bring in elements of your chosen style and fit the rest of your bathroom aesthetic. Relatively, ceramic, porcelain, and stone tiles are the most preferred for tile shower surrounds since they are resistant to water and thus can be easily cleaned. Measure Space: To know the number of tiles to be used, get the correct measurements of the shower area properly. Those extra pieces of material must be bought to cut the parts and account for the breakage that may be incurred. Materials/Tools Needed: Besides the tiles themselves, you will require various other things, including the tile adhesive, grout, notched trowel, tile cutter, spacers, level, and sponge. Before initiating the installation, ensure you have all these things nearby. Preparing for Your Tile Shower Surround ●Prepare the Surface: Remove old adhesive/scum, soap, water, mold back from the shower wall with cleanliness and dryness and clearness. Fix a water-proofing membrane to prevent the penetration of water. ●Apply Tile Adhesive: Apply the tile adhesive on a small wall area. Then, insert the tiles. Then, use spacers. ●Cut and Fit Tiles: When placing bards, cutting them with a tile cutter specifically for edges and corners would be applicable. Demould each tile and do a literal test-fit to realize it fits precisely into the surface before pressing it into the adhesive. ●Grout the Tiles: When the adhesive has set, it takes about a day to set hard. Then, pop out the spacers between the tiles and grout the floor. After preparing the gap, mix the grout and work it into the gap using a rubber float. After that, clean it off with a damp sponge.

  2. ●Seal Grout: One of these is using a grout sealer to stop or reduce the amount of water that gets into the grout and stains the throat. Finally! With the above instructions, you will have a good and, nonetheless, long-lasting tile shower surround that will beautifully match your bathrooms.
