  1. 5 Art Activities for Kids to Do at Home

  2. Natural Collage You can start this by printing full body photo of your kid. For instance, get 8.5 inches by 11 inches. Next, step outside in your lawn and collect natural art supplies. These include twigs, leaves, flowers, bark and more so. Return home, and start gluing all these items to the photograph and create a memorable photo collage to hang in your home or your kids’ room. It is super fun and super creative.

  3. Coffee Filter Art Get coffee filters as craft supplies for sale, its transparency resembles glass. Give the filter uneven edges with scissors. Next, use non-permanent markers to create lines and spots on the filter. Keep the coffee filter on a turned over yogurt container or plastic cup, use spray starch and watch those color bleed. After the coffee filter becomes saturated, stop and allow it to dry.

  4. Handmade Tiles  To create handmade tiles, start mixing water, flour, salt in a bowl and knead it for 2 minutes. Section the dough ball onto a dusted countertop and give it a square shape. Create different impressions using cookie cutter, rubber stamp or objects. You can add details with pencils too. Place this tile on a sheet tray and let it dry under sunlight. Color the dried tile using acrylic paint. Create as many as you want.

  5. Kaleidoscope Collage Grab some poster board or large canvas and create kaleidoscope of colors. Create a mixture of ½ cup craft glue and ¼ cup water. Let your child draw a shape on the poster, brush it with this mixture. Apply tissue paper squares to this wet board, brush more glue over it and repeat this process until you have completely covered it. Use a flat surface to complete the process and prevent it from dripping.

  6. Craft Stick Barn Glue craft sticks vertically at the barn bottom using the pattern of red 2 red, one white, five read one white, etc. Next, glue the white sticks across the bottom and top and horizontally to make the frame. Shop for crafts supplies for sale for this project and arrange mini sticks to create roof of barn, and color it. Make window using craft papers cut into rectangle.
