  2. At Dr. Kandhari’s Skin and Dental clinic we often come across patients who do not want to undergo a full orthodontic treatment or braces but want to fix their smile. They are unhappy with either spaces or gaps between their teeth or have crooked teeth or their smile is jutting out.

  3. In such cases we have the option of dental veneers or laminates which is a short treatment of just two to three sittings at the most. This is a completely painless procedure and provides a beautiful solution for smile makeovers. In this the outer surface of the teeth are reduced or shaved and permanent veneers are cemented onto the natural teeth. 

  4. They are a lot like artificial nails which are fixed onto the natural nails. Veneers have a lot of advantages like they do not stain or discolor. They are also maintenance free and are a fixed solution.  If the patient maintains good oral hygiene veneers can last for a very long time with no side effects. They do not cause any damage to the natural teeth as very minimal tooth structure is removed thereby causing no sensitivity or pain.

  5. They are a great option for fixing one’s smile and treating the front teeth. They cannot replace orthodontic treatment or braces but in patients who do not have a problem with their bite or occlusion this is a great option. Also in patients who have discolored or stained teeth veneers offer a good solution to cover this without the problem of further discoloration. 

  6. Also the shade matching with veneers is very good and it matches perfectly with the natural tooth, thereby giving a very natural result. So for cases with mild to moderate malalignment and who do not want to go ahead with braces and just want to fix their smile. This is a great treatment option.
