Their duties may include reviewing prescription and diagnosis; acting as liaison with physician and supportive care personnel; preparing equipment, such as immobilization, treatment, and protection devices; and maintaining records, reports, and files. They may assist in dosimetry procedures and tumor localization. They are only authorized to perform Radiation Therapy procedures. Requirements: 1) Must have graduated from an accredited Radiation Therapy School. 2) Must have passed the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Radiation Therapy national registry examination. Written examination required. License fee: $45.00 for one category, $65.00 for more than one category.
