It is believed that the Dutch first introduced cold brew to Kyoto, Japan in the 1600s. It then made its way to the USA in the 1960s, when the country first saw the first cold brew producer called ‘Toddy’. The drink further gained popularity in the USA in 2010 and then later ruled the UK in 2014 and the rest of the world post year 2016.
