  1. How To Dress For Oktoberfest In Munich Oktoberfest, held annually in Munich, Germany, is by far the world’s most popular folk festival. It attracts millions of visitors from various parts of the world each year. According to a report, guests consume almost seven million litres of beer and enjoy a wide range of traditional Bavarian food like sausage, chicken, giant pretzels, etc. The first Oktoberfest was held in October 1810 to celebrate the marriage of the King Ludwig and Princess Therese of Saxe-Hildburghausen. It was a time of celebration which involved horse races, parades, music and of course plenty of food and beer. This German tradition has grown today into celebrations held all over the world. The Oktoberfest in Munich is the largest of its kind and lasts just over two weeks.
