  1. Minimally Invasive Surgery | Minimal Incision Facelift and Chicago Facelift Surgery Minimally invasive surgery involves tiny cuts in the skin or no cuts at all in traditional surgery. There are different types ofminimally invasive surgery. In each surgery, the surgeon uses an endoscope, which is a thin tube with a light and tiny video camera on end. This non-robotic minimally invasive surgery is also known as endoscopic surgery. Other surgeries like laparoscopic surgery, thoracoscopic surgery, or "keyhole" surgery are minimally invasive procedures that utilize an endoscope to reach internal organs through tiny incisions. The benefits of minimally invasive surgery include: • Small incisions, few incisions, or no incision • Less pain • Low risk of infection • Short hospital stay • Quick recovery time • Less scarring • Reduced blood loss
