Family Tree Maker Support  Menu TreeVault Cloud Service In Family Tree Maker 2019 November 16, 2023 by Andy Smith TreeVault Cloud Service is a feature in Family Tree Maker 2019 that allows users to sync their family tree data with Ancestry.com’s online family tree service. This feature makes it easy for users to keep their tree data up-to-date across multiple devices and share it with other family members. TreeVault Cloud Service is a new service launched with Family Tree Maker Software. MacKiev introduced FTM2019 in September 2019 and has provided free cloud service for one year. TreeVault Cloud service is not a traditional cloud storage system. It is different compared to DropBox, Google Drive, or iCloud. With this storage system, you can download your tree if your computer crashes or is lost. You do not lose any information when downloading the family tree from TreeVault.   2. When you upload a tree in TreeVault, it creates a source tree called the Antenna tree. With every change in your FTM, your source tree gets updated, so you keep all the information when you download a tree from the cloud. Please make sure to check that your antenna tree is up to date.
