Teachers Have Students Pick a Project They Want to Do Brainstorm Avoid Projects that are not Feasible in Time or Capabilities Get an Idea of What the Final Product will be Define Project Scope & Timeframe to Complete Select a Project

Prepare Written Proposal PROBLEM STATEMENT Within the Douglas County area there are few mental health facilities. However, the need for mental health facilities has not decreased. Those who cannot afford private services or require continual care have few options. We have decided to solve this problem by creating a cost effective facility. Prepare Oral Presentation and Display Materials for Competition Day

The Goal of Technology Education is Technological Literacy “Technological Literacy is the ability to use, manage, assess, and understand technology.”
A Technologically Literate Person Understands: • What technology is • How technology is created • How the use of technology shapes society • How society shapes the development of technology
What is Technology Education? It is a general education Kindergarten - Grade 12 school subject that provides students with opportunities and experiences to learn about Technology.
When you visit a technology education classroom, you see: Hands-On Activities Laboratory-Based Learning Environment Tools & Materials of Technology Problem Solving Activities Students Having Fun!
