  2. Timeline • He was born in Vienna on December 15th 1928. • In 1929 his father died. • When he was 6 he began drawing. • In 1943 he deliberately drew with crayons.

  3. In 1948 he achieved his school-leaving certificate and spent three months at the Academy of Fine Arts in Vienna. In 1952, he had his first exhibition at the Art Club of Vienna. In 1953 he painted his first spiral. He got married in 1958. Then in 1960 he received a divorce. In 1966 Ferry Radaxfilmed the first documentary onhimin La Picaudière. He worked on the Olympia poster for Munich in Lengmoos in 1971. Timeline cont.

  4. In 1972 his mother died. In 1980 Hundertwasser Dayin Washington, D.C. was seen on the 18th November, proclaimed by Mayor Marion Barry. Jr. In 1983 received the most beautiful postage stamp from Italy’s President. In 1990 he worked on architectural realisations. In 1992 he designed four telephone cards for the Austrian Postal Service. In 1993 he designed a postage stamp commemorating the European Council Summit in Vienna In 1999 he lived and worked in New Zealand. In 2000 he died. Timeline cont.

  8. Death • He died Saturday February 19, 2000 from a heart attack. • He was in the pacific, on board The Queen Elizabeth II. • According to his wish he is being buried in harmony with nature on his land in New Zealand, in the Garden of the Happy Deads, under a tulip tree.
