  5. Iowa Jump$tart Vision… • To envision a time when all young people will be financially literate and equipped to achieve lifetime financial goals upon graduation from high school.

  6. How literate are Iowa youth? • National survey says Iowans rank highest • Iowans scored 55.7% • National average? 52.4% • 5,775 high school seniors in 37 states

  7. What does Jump$tart do? • Increase awareness • Encourage personal finance courses • Continue training teachers • Provide resources, such as the “Road to Success” powerpoint

  8. What can your Bank do? • You can be a conference sponsor. • You can sponsor a teacher.

Conference Sponsorship • Four levels of giving: Platinum - $4,000 and more; Gold - $2,000; Silver - $1,000, and Bronze - $500 • All sponsors receive name and logo in the program, at least one free registration, and opportunity to place one promotional item in the conference gift bag • The higher the contribution the more benefits you receive

  10. “Sponsor a Teacher” • Bank provides $150 per teacher • Teachers attend conference July 19-20 • Teacher brings back curriculum, ideas • Bank sponsorship publicized • Result? Students benefit
