SMALL ANIMAL DERMATOLOGY (2) • What should you expect to do: Everything! • History taking, physical examinations, diagnostics and interpretations, record keeping, client communications….This is a very hands on rotation for students • Organization of receiving: • Students see cases as a group vs. individually • Service Specific Clinic Work Expectations: • Completion of discharge instructions, communications as indicated • Consultation for Junior Surgery dogs
SMALL ANIMAL DERMATOLOGY (3) • Study Expectations: • Expect 1 hour of “case related” reading in evening per receiving day • Completion of Learn@UW(Canvas) activities at your own pace; there are 12 modules and each one will take approximately 1 hour to complete. • End-of-rotation quiz: passing grade is 75%
