Mix Dal & Rice Dosa Recipe This Mixed Dal and Rice Dosa is a fantastic morning dish since it will keep you full for a long time while also providing you with a healthy dosage of nutrients, particularly protein. Rice and whole wheat are combined with four different varieties of dal to make the batter for this dosa. This gives the dosa a wonderful texture as well as a warm, classic flavour. This dosa is delicious on its own with a dash of spices, but it's much better with a cup of sambhar or chutney. You can also try Whole Wheat Dosa with Mixed Vegetables and Instant Whole Wheat Vegetable Dosa, which are both nutritious dosas. 2. Cooking Time Total Time Ingredients: ½ cup Rice, ¼ cup Toor dal, 1 tbsp Urad dal, 1 tbsp Chana dal, 1 tbsp whole Moong, 1 tbsp whole Wheat, ½ tsp Chilli powder, ¼ tsp Turmeric powder, 1 tbsp finely chopped Coriander, 2½ tsp Oil for cooking. Method 1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the rice, toor dal, urad dal, chana dal, whole Moong, and Whole Wheat. Soak for 2 hours and drain well. 2. In a mixer, combine 1½ cup water and blend until smooth. 3. Place the mixture in a large mixing bowl, add the salt, and stir well. Cover it with a lid and set it aside to ferment for 12 hours in a warm location. 4. Mix in the chilli powder, turmeric powder, and coriander when it has fermented. 5. Heat a non-stick tava (griddle), then wash it off lightly with a cloth after sprinkling a little water on it. 6. To make a 175 mm (7") diameter circle, pour a heaping ladleful of batter onto it and spread it out in a circular motion. 7. Cook on a high flame until the dosa gets brown and crisp on both sides, smearing ¼ tsp of oil over it and along the edges. Punit Proteins is an excellent and distinct supplier of non sticky basmati rice in Vadodara. 8. To construct a semi-circle or a roll, fold the paper in half. 9. To make 9 additional dosas, repeat the process with the remaining batter. 10. Serve with sambhar. : : 20 mins 30 mins
