(2) WHY - Proposing a topic without justifying its potential or uniqueness is insufficient; it should also explain its importance and potential values. (3) HOW - Execute the plan by describing research design and methodology, ensuring understanding the process of a proposal.

Types of Dissertation Proposals There are several types of the dissertation proposal, but lets have a look at the four main types:- 1) Solicited - Proposals are submitted against a Request for Proposals, addressing research problems attracting funding bodies for solutions. 2) Unsolicited - Investor proposals submitted against a general call to a sponsor with interest in the subject, without specific solicitation.

  6. 3) Preproposals - Sponsors request proposals to reduce applicants efforts by preparing a full-length letter of intent, which is reviewed by the investigator before being submitted. 4) Continuation - The proposal confirms a multi-year project funded by the sponsor, with continued investment based on work progress and funds availability. Know here the steps to create an effective one:-1) Title of Research - Create a title for your dissertation proposal by selecting an area of research that interests you, as a single sentence and briefly constructed title will attract others . 2) An Introduction -In the introductory paragraph, introduce the study area, title, background, motive, and research object, ensuring it's interesting and engaging.

  8. 3) Literature Review - This section explores similar research, identifying gaps and resolving issues, and avoiding answering already answered questions, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of the topic. 4) Methodology Used - Discuss research methods, ensuring thoroughness and conclusion, ensuring a specific approach to ensure a thorough and accurate study. 5) Bibliography - A dissertation proposal should reference all sources used, using various styles like Harvard, Vancouver, APA, MHRA, or a guideline if there is no specific style.
