SAGE University Indore Hosts Transformative Sage Startup and Idea Expo 2024 Indore, 13 & 14th June – Sage University Indore hosted the highly anticipated Sage Startup Spark Idea Expo 2024, a two-day event dedicated to fostering innovation and entrepreneurship. The expo was a vibrant gathering of industry leaders, budding entrepreneurs, and visionaries, all converging to share ideas, insights, and inspiration. Day 1 Highlights The event commenced with a grand inauguration ceremony, featuring a countdown and bell ringing by distinguished guests. A traditional lamp-lighting ceremony, honoring Goddess Saraswati, was led by key dignitaries including ED Mrs. Sakshi Agrawal Bansal, VC Dr. Ankur Arun Kulkarni, Director General Dr. Sudhir Agrawal, and other esteemed guests, setting a traditional yet innovative tone for the event.

  2. Keynote speeches were a major highlight, with thought leaders like Madhan Kumar Shrinivasan, CEO of WiseWork, and Abhinav Dubey sharing their entrepreneurial journeys and visionary insights. A special one-on-one conversation between ED Mrs. Sakshi Agrawal Bansal and Trishneet Arora, founder of TAC Security, provided deep insights into cybersecurity and the entrepreneurial world. The day featured engaging panel discussions. The first panel, "Innovation and Disruption: Driving Forces in the Startup World," included industry leaders such as Karan Khurana and Dr. Sanjeevv Khanna. The second panel, "Funding Opportunities for Startups," offered invaluable advice from experts like Aditi Chaurasia and Rahul Bhargava.

  3. Startup pitching sessions allowed budding entrepreneurs to showcase their ideas, followed by a motivational speech from Ms. Vineeta Singh, Co-Founder and CEO of Sugar Cosmetics. The day concluded with a group photo and the felicitation of participants. Day 2 Highlights

  4. Day 2 began with a keynote speech by Nipun Agrawal, Director of Path(India) Ltd., followed by another round of insightful panel discussions. The first panel, "Lessons from Successful Entrepreneurs," featured seasoned entrepreneurs like Rohit Jhunjhunwala and Dr. Arti Khosla. The second panel, "Business Growth Strategies, Funding, and Legal Aspects," included experts such as Dr. Lata Suresh, angel investor Mr. Rajeev Agarwala, serial investor Mr. Suresh Narsimha, and Mr. Prashant Patel from Aasmo AI.

  5. The highlight of the day was the startup pitch competition, where winners in various categories were announced. The best startup was awarded a prize of ₹1,00,000 by Sage University Indore, with additional cheque distributions to other winners. The expo concluded with a valedictory ceremony, celebrating the achievements of all participants and marking the end of an inspiring event. Group photographs and heartfelt thank- you notes underscored the sense of community and a shared vision for a future driven by innovation and entrepreneurship.
