Dubai Student Visa • Before your flight takes-off for Dubai, you need to have your Dubai Student visa and below is what you need to consider. • Visas normally take 3-4 weeks to process once all the correct documentation has been supplied. The attached forms can be filled and sent to the University.

Dubai Student Visa Requirement • A scanned coloured Passport copy (Passport should be valid at least for a period of six months) • A scanned coloured passport sized Photograph (format is to be of JPEG, the maximum file size is to be 30kb) Size must be 4.3 cm x 5.5 cm with background in white • Student undertaking & Insurance form (duly filled-in) and signed (Attached) • University visa and Biometric forms (Duly filled-in) and signed (Attached) • Tuition and Visa fee remittance copy (should have paid 25% of the tuition fee) • Out of country visa fee of AED: 2,630/- as applicable • Student insurance fee of AED: 1399/- as applicable • Visa caution deposit of AED: 3,000/- (Refundable to student after cancellation of student visa, and deduction of all unsettled dues) • Unconditional offer letter from the admission department or (Enrolment confirmation letter).

Dubai Student Visa Requirement (Contd…) • On Arrival in Dubai, student needs to submit the following documents to the university visa office within 3 days: • Original passport. • Original student visa Entry permit. • Furthermore, below are the important points to be considered: • Student might be liable to pay the additional visa charges as the Visa fees are beyond the University control, and are subject to change. • All students applying for a University sponsored visa must undergo a medical check after entering Dubai. If a student failing the medical test, the visa will not be processed further and the student would be required to leave the country and would not be enrolled in the programme of study. The University shall not be responsible for any such circumstances. • Any fines, penalties, additional charges incurred as a result of an error, delay, late submission, loss of documents, etc. by the student, will be borne by the student. • The student should not stay outside UAE for more than 180 days continuously after the visa is stamped on the passport.

Dubai Student Visa Requirement (Contd…) • Violation of any laws of UAE by the student may even lead to serious circumstances that can include deportation, while the University shall not be responsible and as a result, the student shall alone bear all expenses. • Students must cancel their visa irrespective of the visa validity after completion of the programme or before leaving the Institute by paying a fee of AED 450/- the process will take approximately 7-10 working days. Please note that after the cancellation of visa, the student has to leave the country within 10 days. The visa cancellation should be performed only after submission of the original passport and Emirates ID card. • Student’s visa applications of certain countries might have to undergo certain additional security checks later might also be required to submit more additional documents as mentioned by the UAE government authorities.
