(formal and informal) Depending on who you are speaking with, you would talk to them formally or informally in Spanish. • Informal People who you would/might speak informally with: friends, cousins, people younger than you, coworkers, parents, and people you don’t respect. • Formal People who you would/might speak formally with: strangers, teachers, principals, bosses, elders, parents, and people you respect.
