  2. Why we need Cisco 3750 Switches • With Cisco Catalyst 3750range has been around for many years, Cisco 3750 series became a flagship switch of Cisco Network Product. The new Catalyst 3750-X is the new kid on the Cisco block, and it combines plenty of stuff that will be familiar to users of its predecessors with some funky new features that are clearly a step forward. They are business class models of stackable (3750X) switches for the aggregation and access network layers.

  3. Cisco 3750X Overview • The device comes in a number of flavours–between 12 and 48 ports, with or without Power over Ethernet. The Cisco 3750-X Series with StackWisePlus technology provides scalability, ease of management and investment protection for the evolving business needs. The Cisco Catalyst 3750-X enhances productivity by enabling applications such as IP telephony, wireless, and video for borderless network experience. • As with the Cisco 3750S the rear panel has a pair of "stack" ports. Each stack port provides a 16Gbit/s backplane connection, and by stacking your devices in a loop you end up with a resilient 32Gbit/s backplane.
