Velasquez • He is currently the Chairman, President, and CEO of Azteca Foods. • He received his BS in electrical engineering from the University of Notre Dame and his MBA from University of Chicago. • He is active in business, civic, and service groups on the national scene. • He was the first Hispanic elected to statewide office. • Mr. Velasquez is currently director ofLasalle Bank N.A, The Museum of Science and Industry, Peoples Energy Corporation, Mexican Fine Arts Center Museum.
