India abounds in number of engineering and medical colleges. • The popularity of these two education streams has led to the growing of colleges all across the country. • If you are seeking admissions in an engineering course, you will have to be very careful about the college you choose. • This is because there are several reputed colleges in India, and it becomes a tedious task to make a right choice among all of them. • With the advent of technology, several other fields have come up which require skilled and trained manpower. • This increase in demand of manpower has resulted in the opening of several courses for students in most universities.

  3. Bachelor of Technology orB.Tech courses was initially limited only to engineering streams. However, now there are B.Tech coursesavailable for streams such as Biotechnology and Bioinformatics as well. • There is much confusion about B.E and B. Tech courses. If you are also confused about how these two are different, here are a few points that will help you put your doubts to rest. • Most people believe that the Bachelor of Technology degree is provided by government institutes while the Bachelor of Engineering degree is provided by private institutes. However, this is not true.
