  2. U.S. President Donald Trump has unveiled a new immigration order that suspends the granting of asylum to migrants who cross the U.S.-Mexico border illegally for up to 90 days. The new immigration order has come into effect on Saturday, November 10, and is supposed to suspend the granting of asylum to migrants who cross the U.S.-Mexico border illegally.
