  1. INTRODUCTION Pepsico is an American based international food, snack and beverage cooperation. Currently headquartered in Harrison,New York. On daily basis it does manufacturing , marketing and distribution of grain based snack foods and beverages. To examplify, pepsico ships snack food and beverages to Loblaws and from here it sends order to stores like No Frills , Zehers and Real Canadian Superstores etc. From where we can buy this.

  2. LET‘S TALK ABOUT HISTORY It all started in 1965 merging with Pepsi cola company and Frito Lays Inc. Sicnce then it started expanding due to its product Pepsi and other wide range of products in food and beverages. after a while it acquired more companies like tropicana in 1998 and quaker oats company in 2001.

When it comes to a large cooperation such as Pepsico they need to be very concerned about maintaining the balance between two so that it does not impact the our resources and environment and our upcoming generation so that they can also take take the benifits of resources as we are taking now.

In keeping mind the health of canaians they always use farm grown ingredients to maintain great taste and quality. Following are some of their efforts • Inroduced baked chips in 1996. • No trans fat by movinf to healty oils. No trans fat in potato chips like in lays and ruffles and also inroduced no fat tortilla chips like in dortitos and tortitos.

As an international growth and expansion stakeholders varity and demands increase . But, Pepsico is adapting the changing business environment. Pepsico CSR strategies are based upon how stakeholders impact the business. Following are major stakeholder groups:- • Consumers and customers (top priority) • Communities • Employees • Investors • Government (least priority)

  15. Consumers and Customers • Consumers and customers are on the top of list in Pepsico’s CSR strategies . This stakeholder group determines the financial standing of the company in terms of revenues. Consumers are using their products and expects great quality with reasonable price. On the other hand, customers who are doing business with Pepsico wants a linear( stable and improving) business. Like distribution centers and superstores(loblaws,zehers, and no frills etc).

  16. Communnities influences the customer and employee most . And due to this this stakeholder have responsibility to make a good image . The interests of these stakeholders include corporate support for community development programs. • the Foundation invests in organizations like Diplomas Now, which supports education and career development in city neighborhoods. Also, the firm expands recycling and waste management programs.

Investors due to company hugher significant performance investors are intersted in Pepsico. Investors significantly affect the company through availability and cost of capital

  18. Government. Governments are significant in terms of imposing rules and requirements on PepsiCo’s business. This stakeholder group is interested in ensuring that companies comply with regulations. PepsiCo’ global legal team and public relations team address issues related to governments. Furthermore, the company has policies for bottlers, distributors, and suppliers to ensure that they comply with government requirements.
