About The ability to accomplish the task with as little assistance as possible for people at home, as when they are at work, school or enjoying some leisure time. People’s functionality in various situations completely depends on the life skills they have developed over time. For each person, the level of disability can be diverse, ranging from minor to moderate; in such a situation, people with disability need to learn modified methods of completing daily tasks. However, those living with severe disabilities might require to use of assistive devices or help from an assistant to accomplish their day-to-day tasks. At Hale Foundation, we strive to help people develop independent living skills, as it is a fuel that powers life, and it would not be easy to lead a productive life without it. However, mastering these skills doesn’t mean that a person will do everything on their own; our professional assistants will be aware of the challenging tasks and will be managing the situation with them.
