A simple trackball is a pointing device with a ball that contains sensors which helps in detecting the rotation of the actual ball.   2. The industrial trackballs are used commonly along with the industrial LCD displays and with the industrial computers. Since, the industrial trackballs are designed to work in tough environment, they have to resist major external disturbances such as high temperature, dust, vibrations, shock, etc
