The Gurukul of Patli Putra (Now known as Patna) was one of the oldest universities in Indian History. The oldest still functioning College is senate of Serampore College started in 1818 by missionaries situated in Serampore City, West Bengal. After that many universities & colleges has been established & many has been delivering wonders. Indian Personalities like Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam who was the 11thPresident of India, known as the “Missile Man of India” completed his education from St. Joseph’s College, under Madras Institute of Technology. Also, the great cricketer “Rahul Dravid” was graduated from Karnataka University. These things show & make us feel proud of having one of the best colleges & universities in our country. But everyone cannot be Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam or Rahul Dravid. They are jewels of our nation. No one can replace them. But, other students can get a good future, by having a job as per their satisfaction, even being a fresher. It has been predicted that in the near future of our education system, technology will play a crucial role. Many companies are coming up with online education system, e-learning practices, etc. which helps schools & colleges to teach students via different, enjoyable & convincing methods & materials. This will also give students the latest knowledge of the current events & their subjects. Technology will also play an essential role in security in examinations. The chances of paper leakages will be to minimum. These developments show that there will be more & more jobs for freshers available. This all will help in more & more knowledgeable students coming out of colleges and universities, looking for jobs. Still the students coming out will be lacking practical
experience. They will still be called “Freshers”. Colleges usually try & help students to get a placement. A special placement department is set, which help these students to get a job. They usually call companies to give placements, but many a times, colleges & universities do tie-ups with these companies for the placement opportunities. Also, there are few online job portals who posts jobs for fresher’s which help these students to get a deserved job. They try to provide all the type of information a college is looking for like company background, open vacancies, vacancy details, company details, etc. This can help colleges & universities to get a good vacancy offer for these students. These online portals usually work on Fresher Jobs. They tend to target to students and/or campuses that are seeking vacancies for freshers.
