  1. Introduction to Skills of Off-road Winch Preparing Winch is called ‘4x4 Fifth Drive’, and it is one of the essential rescue equipment for off-road vehicle. When your car gets stuck in the mud in the wild, an electric winch is the most effective tool to get out of trouble at the moment. Many people know this, but most of them just ‘know’. How to use winch correctly and safely? Here you are taught step by step to start with the most basic introductory operation. 1. How much pull winch do you need for your off-road vehicle? A simple formula: vehicle weight (KG)*1.5/*0.8*2/0.9=the pounds of winch starting pull required. If you find it difficult to calculate, you can refer to this table.
