1. Welcome to Horizons Adventures We have been specializing in Sea Kayaking instruction and trips on Georgian Bay, the North Channel of Lake Huron and Lake Superior since 1995. We offer Paddle Canada certifications for sea kayak skills and we also train people to become instructors, guides and Wilderness First Aid responders. Much of our 2019 programs are now on line with Early Bird pricing and we have yearly program calendar that makes it easy to see what is available and when. 2. Where We Paddle We are located just outside Sudbury Ontario, Canada, about 5 hours north of Toronto and 6 hours west of Ottawa, Ontario. We paddle the best parts of the Great Lakes Heritage Coast, including Pukaskwa National Park, Lake Superior Provincial Park and most of Lake Huron’s North Channel. Our base is located on Sleepy Hollow Road, just west of Sudbury, with ideal access to the North Channel, the Bay of Islands and the west end of Killarney Provincial Park. Our Leaders Our guides and instructors are professionally trained and nationally certified through Paddle Canada, Sirius Wilderness Medicine and all have additional life skills and talents. They travel extensively and continually add to their experience and expertise. They love to paddle and share that love with others.
