Whether or not you like it, the rainy season still has a long way to go. The monsoon normally lasts until the end of August, and it often continues into September and October, giving us plenty of reasons to stay indoors! We're not sure about you, but getting soaked in puddles isn't our idea of a good time. If you're like us and have finished watching all Netflix offers, you might find it difficult to keep entertained this season. We thought we'd share some things we've discovered that might make the monsoon season appear fairly lovely from the inside! 1. Learn something new: Consider how much time you spend checking Facebook or scrolling through Instagram. Imagine if you could use all of those hours to improve your skills in an area you currently enjoy or learn something completely new. With the amount of material available online, it's now possible to take university-style classes for free on sites like Coursera and learn from some of the world's top teachers! And the best part about online courses is you can do them from the comfort of your bed wearing comfy night pyjamasfrom House Of Dreams!
2. Exercise: You must be incorrect if you believe that the rain will prevent us from getting our daily dose of endorphins. Even if your favourite park or workout spot is flooded, there are plenty of terrific internet videos and workouts to choose from. They're also, you guessed it, entirely free. PopSugar is great for high-intensity and Pilates-style exercises, while Heart Alchemy has some great vinyasa flow yoga programmes. A mat and sometimes a few modest weights are usually all you need, though several videos are also fully equipment-free. Make the most of these months by focusing on yourself and becoming! 3. Try your hand at cooking: If you haven't already spent some time in the kitchen, this is the best moment to do it! You can learn the basics from your family or housekeeper and then look up recipes for your favourite dishes online. If you don't know someone, you can look for a video from the thousands of food bloggers and chefs that teach online on YouTube. Cooking for yourself is a valuable skill that will serve you well throughout your life, and you won't have to rely on all those meal delivery apps!
4. Relax and watch Netflix: It’s okay to take a break sometimes and relax. Monsoons are one of the best seasons for taking naps, being lazy and watching Netflix. And now you can do that in comfort with our Netflix and chill night suitfrom House Of Dreams. These were some ways you could beat monsoon blues. If you’re looking for a place to purchase some comfy and quirky nightwear for women, check out House Of Dreams at www.houseofdreams.in!
