  1. Old Home Extension project in Canberra Here is our new project homeextensions in Canberra for the old home and growing family. This home was just over 20 years old and all still original and in desperate need of an update. At the same time, the clients with 4 young children were outgrowing it. After looking to move but not finding a suitable home and the fact they loved the location, they decided to stay and extend/renovate. How We Do To enable them to maintain the large outdoor living area and yard space they enjoyed we decided to add a second floor, which incorporated two new bedrooms, a bathroom, and a living space and became a teenager's retreat. The staircase area was an extension on the ground floor so nothing was lost on the original level. We then removed internal walls downstairs to open up the living family area, incorporated a built fireplace, a large new galley kitchen with a butler pantry built, polished timber floors throughout, replaced all the windows, re-roofed the entire house, rendered, repainted all inside and out, built a new stone entry and replaced the driveway, a completely new home.
