Now let us discuss the steps involved in getting new IEC for Business: • Step 1: visit the website http://dgft.gov.in/ for applying new IEC • Step 2: From the menu select ‘online application’ tab under that select IEC then click on ‘online IEC application’ tab as shown in below image. Step 3: next step is you need to enter your pan number in a given textbox and click next button Step 4: For applying for new IEC click on radio button ‘Apply for fresh e-IEC’ Then enter mobile number and email id respectively. Step 5: then you receive 2 OTP (one time password) one you will receive in mobile which you have submitted and another in email enter those OTP in respective fields then click on submit. • Step 6: After submitting, you will receive ECOM reference id for your application • Step 7:Then you need to fill up details regarding your company ,address,contact details and so on • Step 8:IEC application fees can be payable via debit card, credit card etc • Step 9:upload the required documents in a pdf format or image to get new IEC • Step 10:in the end ,click on submit for submitting your application .
