Aarti Performing aarti is a pious and an important custom of Hindu culture. Aarti is for the most part offered for gods where wicks are kept absorbed, outspread, and lit afterward. The custom of performing aarti is mainly for Gods and other life form but aarti is also done for things like work equipment, cars, and other lifeless things so that they perform to the fullest of their capacity. Aarti is to be done multiple times in a day which ranges from 3 to 5 times. Etymologically aarti means total love where “Aa” represents “Total” and “Rati” denotes “Love”. MangalaAarti Kashi Vishwanath is one temple where Lord is woken up at 3:00 AM every morning. It is not an easy thing to be up and ready at the temple by 2:45 AM, especially on a holiday, but this is one pooja which is worth the effort. BhogAarti Every noon, BhogAartiis performed in Kashi Vishwanath Temple. It is second Aarti after MangalaArti. Bhogaarti is offering of food to Lord who gives this food to us. Sandhya Aarti Every evening a religious ritual is performed in Kashi Vishwanath Temple which is Sandhya Aarti or evening aarti. Young priests perform the ritual using fire and chant Vedic Mantras. ShringarAarti Every night ShringarAarti ritual is performed in Kashi Vishwanath Temple. Shringar means adornment of Lord. Once ShringarAarti starts then dharshan can be done from outside till the time Aartiends. After Aarti, Bhog is offered to Lord. After offering it is distributed to the public. ShayanAarti Shayan means to sleep. ShayanAartiis performed before Lord goes to sleep. Prasad, clothes and other such offerings are given to poor.
