The Cortex-M4 microcontroller enables real time control with low power consumption while running a real time operating system (RTOS). The Cortex-A9 manages external network and graphics communications via a higher level operating system, such as Linux or Android. It may be powered down when not used to conserve power and minimize heat. An optional expansion board provides added peripheral connectivity, including: LVDS or parallel LCD, touch screen, camera, and additional serial/sensors.
