  1. What are Cell Salts? What are Cell Salts? Cell salts are a therapy that is utilized similarly to homeopathic medicine. However, it is meant to work on both the energetic level and the nutrient level together. There are 11 elements that are combined in various pairs and used to help balance different pathological states. A salt is just what you are thinking – something like sodium chloride (table salt). It is created when a cation (positive) and anion (negative) are combined and work synergistically together. There are 11 elements that are combined to form the 12 salts: Calcium, Iron, Potassium, Magnesium, Sodium, Silica, Chloride, Fluoride, Oxygen, Phosphorus, and Sulphur. Cell salt therapy is a gentle modality and can be used to create balance within the body and enhance nutritional supplementation – and it is a great treatment for children for a multitude of reasons. How are Cell Salts taken? The salts are prepared like homeopathic medicine and are taken in the form of milk sugar tablets. They do not taste like the element or like salt at all, but are sweet and mild – which is why compliance is so great in kids.

  2. They can be used long-term or for an acute situation, and help restore function rather than replace it. If you have been sensitive to milk or sugar in the past it will most likely not be an issue when using cell salts, because of the way they are prepared and the amount used. However, there have been a few occasions when people have had adverse reactions. If you utilize cell salts and feel you are having a reaction, please let your Doctor know so we can make an adjustment to the treatment. If you want more information on cell salts, call our clinic at (425) 361-7945 to schedule an appointment.
