Introduction • Objective • cPanel is a graphical web-based control panel that helps the user to manage or control the website.  • It assist the web owners and the servers to have control over their properties. • It is designed to function either as a dedicated server or virtual private server. 2

  4. How to use file manager in cPanel? • Login to the control panel • Under Files, select File Manager • Click Go. • Select public_html from the left tree, this will display the files under the folder public_html in the right area. 4

  5. Change File Permissions in cPanel  In the resulting popup, select the required boxes and click Change permissions button. 5

Create New File in cPanel • Explanation • To create a new file, follow the steps given below. • Login to the Control panel and select File Manager under Files. • Next phase • Select the folder public_html. • Next phase • Select the folder under which you want the new file to be created • Now select New File from the top menu. 6
