Offer Recognition Never make the mistake of thinking that a team member’s salary is all of the recognition they need for a job well done. Instead, be sure to offer a pat on the back to anybody who works hard or is able to accomplish a difficult task. A simple compliment or a small demonstration of gratitude will go a lot further than just barking out orders and failing to acknowledge when they are followed.
