He recognised the region’s potential that continues to define the wines styles.In 1867, he commissioned a building that operates as brand’s barrel room even today. In the present day, a team of experts manages the vineyards and winemaking with the aim to produce the best wines. The vineyard team is head by Chris Brodie and the winemaking team by Tim Heath and Dan McNicol. The vineyards are spread over 155 hectares of land and all the major varieties of red and white wines are grown which include Cabernet Sauvignon, Shiraz, Pinot Noir and Merlot from the red wines range and Chardonnay, Riesling and Sauvignon Blanc from the white wines range.
