  2. Gum disease is the swelling, pain or infection of the tissues supporting the teeth. Gingivitis & periodontal disease are two types of gum disease. Introduction

  3. Gingivitis means inflammation of the gums while Periodontitis means inflammation around the tooth. Both are a serious gum infection that damages the soft tissue & bone that supports the tooth.
