Americans by and large don’t know any science
E N D
Although scientific literacy has doubled over the past two decades, only 20 to 25 % of Americans are “scientifically savvy and alert,” says Jon D. Miller, a political scientist who studies how much Americans know about science and what they think about it. American adults do not understand what molecules are (other than they are really small). Less than a third can identify DNA as a key to heredity and 10 percent know what radiation is, according to Miller’s findings. Miller attributes much of the nation’s collective scientific ignorance to poor education, particularly in high schools. Aug 30 2005 - New York Times

An “affordance” is a feature of the world (real or virtual) that will allow for a certain action to be taken, but only if it is matched by an ability in an actor who has the wherewithal to carry out such an action (Gibson 1979).

CAN I USE "MONSTER REBORN" ON MY "ARMED DRAGON LV7"? No, you will never be able to Special Summon “Armed Dragon LV7” with “Monster Reborn” because “Armed Dragon LV7” is a monster that can only be Special Summoned by the method described in its text. These monsterscan be identified by the text “This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. This card cannot be Special Summoned except by …”. This means that the method described after the “except by” is the only way that monster can ever be Summoned. This prevents it from being Special Summoned from the Graveyard with “Monster Reborn”, “Call of the Haunted”, or any other effect, even if it was properly Summoned by its own effect first. http://www.upperdeckentertainment.com/yugioh/en/faq_gameplay.aspx
