1. 1 Recording Attendance in TAM
2. 2 Daily Attendance - Teachers access the homeroom by having the homeroom radio button checked and selecting the correct semester. Daily attendance schools have the option to select an absence or late reason.
Period Attendance Teachers access the class having the Classes radio button checked and highlighting the correct class under courses, and clicking the List button. Absence reasons must be completed by the office.

5. 5 Recording Daily Attendance Allows teacher to add absence/late reasons
Check A in the AM section to mark absent

6. 6 Recording Daily Attendance Use the drop down menu to select the reason of Illness or injury or other reason for student being absent.
Use the side scroll bar to see additional reasons.
Teachers must enter Unexcused Absence for any student who is absent until data managers/ teachers receive an excused reason. DO NOT leave the reason blank.
7. 7 Late/Tardy Place a check in the L column.
Add a reason code from the drop-down list.
Only Excused or Unexcused Late are allowed.
8. 8 Complete and Save Check the Attendance Completed box
Click on Save
Exit using the door
9. 9 Recording Period Attendance Mostly used in High Schools
Click the Classes radio button.
Reason codes must be entered in the attendance office.
10. 10 All students are Present Check the AC for Attendance Completed
