Issues like these – such as divorce, alimony, or child support – can be some of the hardest challenges to face. Issues like these are usually called “family law”. Family law is very serious, and something that Nelson Law Group does not take lightly. Below are some of the most common questions and answers about family law. Do I need an attorney if I am getting a divorce? Normally both parties consult a lawyer in a divorce case. A case can take anywhere from six months to one year to complete, depending on how many factors play a role in the case.
