About Her and Her Books • Has published over 200 books since her first one in 1972 called The Two Giants which is a story about an Irish folktale. • She writes between 6-7 books a year. • Some of her fiction books are relatable to her life or her children’s lives. • Mostly writes picture books, middle school novels and novels for young adults. • Likes to use many different Illustrators, not just the same one every book, so her books always look different
