4. New Apprenticeships New criteria for apprenticeship frameworks (Specification for Apprenticeship Standards in England, SASE) to be applied ready for April 2011
These new frameworks to also be available via an online portal – “apprenticeshipframeworksonline / AFO”
All SSCs currently redeveloping their frameworks accordingly

6. Proposed YW framework Objectives
To contribute towards addressing specific skills gaps in youth work
To help bring about a more diverse workforce which reflects the community it serves
To outline entry requirements onto a youth work apprenticeship
To provide clear pathways for career progression

recognise the importance of integrity in all personal and social interactions and respecting the human rights of young people
accept the principles of the Ethical Conduct in Youth Work
